The effect of climate change is being felt with a super mast being experienced nationally in our forests. What does this mean well basically lots and lots of food and warm weather for rodents which will mean they will breed like rats as the saying goes. More rats stoats etc means more stress on our native birds like the Kiwi or the flying Kokako. Read the NZ Herald article to get more detail.
